The journal «Radiology — practice» is being published since 2000.

Beginning 2011 the journal confirmed its scientific status entering the List of Russian reviewed journals by Higher Attestation Commission where the main research results of PhD thesis can be published. This can be applied for both medical field and applied-physics spheres.
