Supervision of research workers

From 2006 to present — Head of the leading research school in radiographic diagnosis in Russia: 21 doctoral theses and 79 candidate theses were defended under the supervision of Prof. A.Yu. Vasiliev, he has got 734 scientific publications in total, 52 of them are patented, 16 monographies, 33 manuals.

2. Research and introduction into practice of new methods of radiographic diagnosis aimed at early and exact diagnosis of bone pathologies with the help of microfocal radiography.
3. Highly technological methods of radiographic diagnosis for the most essential and wide-spread pathologies.
4. Radiographic semiotics for the injuries of different organs and systems, resulted from participation in military operations.
5. Radiographic diagnosis of maxillary-facial area.
6. New medical technique creation.
7. Radiologic diagnosis for anthropology.
